Printmaking
Michele got introduced to printmaking around 30 years ago and finds she often revisits the medium. The simplicity of a two-color block print appeals to her when drawn to a vision involving a modest, straightforward statement.
Colored Pencil
Michele spent many years honing her drawing skills while using colored pencil as a primary medium. She was a member of the Colored Pencil Society of America and has had many of her works published. Most of her commissioned portraits were done using colored pencil techniques.
Water Color
Watercolor, the most difficult medium to handle with proficiency is one she’s dabbled with over the years. She finds herself picking up watercolor when she travels to do quick sketches that will become her larger acrylic paintings. Over the course of her career she has produced many small watercolor paintings that stand alone as viable works of art and are in private collections. |
